My fiancé and I both have HSA and we are both putting in the maximum family amount as we both have children. He has an individual HDHP covering only himself and I have family HDHP. Can we continue in this same way after married (I contribute maximum family and he contributes maximum family) as long as we keep our separate insurance, or can we only contribute the maximum family amount together?

You are limited to $7,000 for both of you together for 2019 if both are under age 55. How you apportion the maximum amount between your separate HSA’s is your choice.
