Question

I'm trying to access my stimulus check payment it keeps saying that the information put in is wrong how do I find out my proper refund amount and filing status

If you are getting this error before any message about your payment is displayed you can find this information by logging into your TurboTax account. 

 

Follow these steps to find your information: 

 

  1. Login to TurboTax.com.
  2. The page that displays immediately after your first login this year will show your filing status under the heading Personal Info.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. On the next page, scroll all the way down to the bottom and click Show beside Your Tax Returns and Documents.
  5. Next, select 2019 and then click on Download/Print Return.
  6. Your refund will be shown on Line 20.
