Lawsuit involving turbo tax

I keep receiving emails from a lawyer last name Troxell regarding a lawsuit against Turbo tax. Is this a scam or is there an actual lawsuit?

It is probably some lawyer who is trying start a lawsuit and having difficulty finding clients.  The word "Ambulance Chaser" comes to mind.

 

Most all tax preparation software companies face lawsuits on an annual basis.  Santa Clara County in California filed a lawsuit against TurboTax in September of 2019.
