Missing a dependent portion of my stimulus check

When the first stimulus checks went out- I realized I had misfiled my youngest child  so I filed an amended return  that went through, eventually. So then I couldn’t figure out how to get what I

not to worry - there is a 'settle up' section for the stimulus as part of  the 2020 tax return.  Just answer the questions at the END of the interview process.  the additional stimulus you are eligible for will end up on Line 30 of Form 1040.  The 2nd stimulus is not programmed in yet, but it's expected to be (we hope!)  by the time the filing window opens in late January.  Suggest not filing until you are confident the software has been updated
