I'm trying to figure out if I need to fill out the non filers tool for my stimulus check. I only made 2,000 w2 dollars this year and filed my taxes and got my refund on april 15th. It says you dont need to do anything if you filed taxes but it always says if you were required to.. well I wasn't and filed only to recieve what little I paid about 300 dollars. I have tried the get my payment tool and get the same error not available message many of us have. The non filers tool says dont use it if you've filed, but says use it if you are low income and aren't required to file. I dont want to mess anything up, and I got my return on a turbo card and expected it to get my stimulus Wednesday when others did. PLEASE HELP. I CANT GET ANY ANSWERS

Not required to file 2019 taxes but did file to get refund of taxes paid. Do I need to use non filers tool?

I haven't filed since 2016 I haven't worked. I'm still getting the payment status not available message and like I said I wasnt required to file. How sure are you I shouldn't use the non filers tool and should just wait? I got an email form turbotax on Wednesday saying congrats yada yada your stimulus payment should be today and such but never got it. I'm all upset about this whole thing and dont know what to do.
