I still have yet to receive my stimulus check...I noticed that I had accidently checked someone can claim me as a dependent. This is incorrect. No one can claim me.

What do I need to do in order to receive my stimulus check...Please advise if I need to amend my 2019 return.

Yes. You have to amend your return. You will notice on the 1040 X that there’s no box to check to make that change. You have to explain the reason for the amendment in the area on the form that asks why you are amending. You have to mail the amended return which will take many months to process.
