My sons dad claimed him on his 2020 tax return. Will the stimulus payment go to him? How do I change my sons address to mine since he resides with me?

    Yes, the third stimulus payment goes to the parent that claims the child on their 2020 return.

     

    You can't change your son's address, as the payment goes to the parent. 

     

    However, if you alternate years claiming your child with the other parent, then you got the previous stimulus payments for him.
