Stimulus Registration, already filed 2019 taxes without direct deposit

Hello,

I already filed my 2019 taxes (not through turbotax) but did not receive a refund and therefore did not provide any direct deposit information (only income was from interest, so no taxes had been paid throughout the year). Am I able to also submit a stimulus registration as well to provide up to date direct deposit information to get my stimulus check faster?

According to this IRS article Economic impact payments: What you need to know
"In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail."
