I have a tax return from the state of Florida for child support. Now, my son is 18 years old and Florida wont cancel the offset. What actions can I take to stop the state from continuing to keep my hard earned tax return!

Thank you

Huh?  Florida does not even have a state income tax.  Do you mean you live in Florida but the IRS is taking your FEDERAL refund for the delinquent child support?   Or does Florida garnish your paychecks?  This is not clear at all.

Sometimes states can have the IRS seize federal refunds for state debts--it that it?  TurboTax never knows about offsets to your refund, so this is a matter you have to work out with Florida yourself.  You say your child is now 18--but if you still owe for back child support they can take your refund until the amount owed is settled.
