Turbo asked to verify stimulus payments.  For a single tax payer, entitled to two payments of $600 each which were received.  Entered this into the questions on the stimulus and it set up an additional rebate of $600.  I believe this is erroneous.

The stimulus payments to a Single tax payer would be $1.200 for EIP1 and $600 for EIP2.  Is this what you entered?

According to IRS website, a total of $1,200 payment for eliegible individuals with no qualifying children was the amount to be issued.  Received two payments of $600 each totaling $1,200 whish was entered into Turbo and it prepared a schedule of a rebate refund for an additonal $600.

On the TurboTax page for entering stimulus payments received or not received, where did you enter the $1,200?  In the first box or the second box?  The first box was ONLY for the first stimulus payment of $1,200 and the second box was ONLY for the second stimulus payment of $600.
