TurboTax 2010 on CD fails to install program updates

I upgraded my computer from Windows 7 to Windows 10 to be able to install TurboTax 2020 on CD.  It fails to install the program updates.  Congratulations!  You've created a product that doesn't install on any version of Windows! It suggested either my anti-virus was interfering with the install, or I needed administrator privileges.   Both seem ridiculous since I've never had any issues with TurboTax 2016, 2017, 2018 or 2019. This issue never occurrence with any third party software. 

Fortunately, I tried an alternate install.  I downloaded the software from the site and ran it. It ran quicker than the software on CD.  The software on CD took so long to startup, I thought it may have hung. Then it was able to perform the program updates.
