I couldn’t get my address changed due to it saying my documents were invalid and I moved so I’m not sure if I’ll get my second stimulus check so I’m trying to find out what bank they go through so I can receive my check

The IRS will direct deposit your payment into the bank account information you provided on your 2019 tax return you filed last year. ( If you end up a refund on your 2019 tax return).  You may refer to your 2019 tax return to locate that information.  There is nothing you need to do to get a stimulus payment.  If you did not provide any direct deposit information on your 2019 tax return, you will likely receive the payment as a check or debit card in the mail. Also, if you are eligible but don’t receive the payment for any reason, it can be claimed as a Recovery Rebate Credit by filing a 2020 tax return in 2021.  Click here: Recovery Rebate Credit

If your bank information is invalid or the bank account has been closed, the bank will reject the deposit and the IRS will mail your payment to the most recent address they have on file. Typically, once the payment is mailed, it will take up to 14 days to receive the payment, standard mailing time.

To notify the IRS about your move, please fill out a Form 8822, Change of Address
