Question

Why did I not receive a payment for my dependent child on the second round of stimulus? I received for that child on the first round.

My child did turn 18 this year, but is still in school and my dependent. He was still eligible on the first round.

    The second stimulus payment was an advance tax credit based on the 2020 federal tax return.  Since the child is age 17 or older in 2020 they are not eligible for the stimulus payment.
