1099-C for deseased spouse

My wife died in 2021 and I filed a joint return for that year and reported her date of death. There were no assets in her estate and therefore there was no probate.

For 2024 I received a form 1099-C, cancellation of indebtedness, from a credit card which was solely in her name. It was not a joint credit card account.

What, if anything, do I need to do with this?

Thanks!

You do not report anything for this form 1099-C as your deceased spouse had no estate.

    I'm sorry for your loss.
