MY FORM DOES NOT SHOW DATE ACQUIRED SO I GET AN ERROR TO REVIEW. HOW DO I FIX.

You will enter the date that you acquired the asset.

  • Your broker may have some information.
  • If you don't recall the exact date give your best guess.
  • Record it and keep it with you tax information so that you know what you did if the IRS should ask.
