How can I correct a social security number I mistyped in the info section?

For TurboTax Online, go to the Personal profile screen. 

  1. Select your name under Your info
  2. Select Revisit
  3. Scroll through the screens and edit your SSN.

If you need to edit a dependent's SSN:

 

  1.  Go to the Personal profile screen.
  2. Under Your Household, select Revisit
  3. Select Edit next to the dependent

For TurboTax Desktop, open your tax return and select Personal Info and edit your info or your dependents.
