How do we find the required minimum distribution for a pension account?

When you enter a 1099R for a pension you  need to say it was all RMD.  A pension meets the requirements for RMD.

If you received monthly payments, then all payments are considered RMDs.

In TurboTax, you can answer that the whole amount received is RMD.
