How you reflect in your record pension payments due to retirement.

    I'm not sure what you're asking. 

    Did you enter Form 1099-R for a pension? 

    Did the program ask about your RMD for the pension? If that is the issue, enter the total (yearly) amount that was paid as your RMD.

    What?  Do you need to enter the pension payments you received?  You should get a 1099R for it.

     

    Enter a 1099R under
    Federal Taxes
    Wages & Income
    Then scroll way down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
    Then IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R) – Click Start
