Question

I am trying to add an amount from from 4970 into TT other tax situations, accumulation Dist of Trusts (Form 4970) and it will not let me. Why?

It is listed as an option, but it is grayed out and I cannot input anything in that field.

    Click on Forms in the upper right corner.   Click on Open Form, right above Forms in My List.   Type in 4970, the Form 1040 section will expand.   Highlight Form 4970, then select Open Form.    Once the form opens, click on Quick Zoom to be taken to the worksheet where you can enter your Schedule J (1041) information.
