Question

I have two 1099-Q forms. I entered one just fine. TT won't let me enter the second one. How can I get TT to enter a second 1099-Q?

"Great news! You don't need to report this form. It looks like form 1099-Q won't affect your taxes, so you can just skip this step. We'll take the form off your return."

Once you delete this first form, you can enter the second form, if it will be taxable. If all of it was used on 529 qualified Room and Board  and Qualified Education Expenses - Internal Revenue Service, it should not be entered.

IRS Publication 970, Tax Benefits for Education states:

Page 45: Don't report tax-free distributions (including qualifying rollovers) on your tax return.
