Question

I started receiving pension payments last year but did not get a 1099-R form to summarized that. How do I report those payments income on my 2024 tax return?

You need the 1099R.   Go to the website of the pension fund to see if you can download or import it.

To enter your retirement income, Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.

You should have received a 1099-R if you received more than $10 in pension payments.   You should request a copy of the 1099-R from whoever paid you the pension payments.   Where do I enter a 1099-R?
