Individual 401k contribution is maximizing the elective deferral even though I unchecked the maximum contribution box and entered a reduced elective deferral.

I suggest deleting TurboTax's Keogh, SEP and SIMPLE Contribution Worksheet and then going back and reentering your reduced elective deferral.
