misc expenses or fees for investment accounts

On my composite 1099 form, the investment lists Miscellaneous Fees in the category Fees & Expenses not reported to the IRS.  Can I deduct these Miscellaneous Fees charged by the investment management company?

No, investment management fees are not deductible on your Federal return.  

 

However, some states may allow a deduction only on the state return.
