Please clarify the question did you receive a 1099R in 2024? I received a 1099 RN 2025 for income in 2024 does this apply to me?

Did TurboTax make a mistake by asking if you received a 1099 or in 2024?

Don't know what a 1099 RN is but if you got a 1099R for 2024 you need to enter it.

Enter a 1099R under
Federal Taxes
Wages & Income
Then scroll way down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
Then IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R) – Click Start
If you are adding another 1099R there might be a Add button at the bottom of the list.

No, TurboTax didn't make a mistake. You receive your tax documents for 2024 in 2025.

TurboTax may be trying to determine if this is the first time that you received a 1099-R if it's asking did you received one in 2024.
