Question

Should this amount appear on the 1099-R I received from OPM? If not, how do I find it? I retired in November of 2000.

    What amount are you referring to?  A taxable amount in box 2a?  Please clarify.

    Due to TurboTax issues.
    to avoid wrongful penalty, for each 1099-R, tell TurboTax that the distributed amount is the calculated required amount.
