Social Security Fairness Act

I am a federal CSRS retiree.  I received a 2025 lump sum payment from the SSA.  Turbotax gave me a 2024 tax withheld amount. equal to my 2024 SS benefits. Can you explain?

Can you clarify?  Did you enter a 2025 SSA payment on your 2024 return?   When did you receive the money and/or tax form(s)?   And is there tax withheld?
