Are you sure you are entering in the right place?  Were you trying to enter something else like a SSA1099 for Social Security?

 

 Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

 

Watch what you click when you get to the first screen.
