I’m trying to fill out a 1099-misc, it’s for transportation cost. What box do I put it in on the 1099?

    Was the payment made to someone who is not your employee for services in the course of your trade or business? If so, the payment probably belongs in Box 7.

     

    However, you should provide more details with respect to the circumstances.
