1099 Misc for Coupon Interest from Securities, how and where do I report it?

Report your Form 1099-MISC in TurboTax Online as follows:

• Click on Search and type in "Form 1099-MISC"
• Click on "Jump to form 1099-misc"
• Answer Yes to "Did you get a 1099-MISC?"
• Enter the information on your 1099-MISC.  

How you proceed from here will depend somewhat on which box the amount received was reported in.  If it is box 3, proceed as follows:

• Give a description - For example "Interest"
• Indicate "None of  these apply" on the "Do one of these uncommon situations apply?"
• Indicate "No, it didn't involve work like [your] main job
• Mark "[You] got it in 2024" only 
• Mark "No, it didn't involve an intent to earn money"
