My main employer issued a 1099 MISC, it was 99% of my income as an independent contractor; do i need him to reissued as an NEC or can i just enter in the correct information online (money paid to me) thanks

You can just enter it as a 1099-MISC, but let him know to correct it for future years.

You will be asked questions in the interview that allow the income to flow to Schedule C.

Answer the following questions:
- Did it involve work that's like your main job? Yes.
- You got it in 2021
- Yes, it didn't involve an intent to earn money
