Question

Amongst 2021, I had an injury to where I couldn't drive for Lyft and also had to get my car repaired to drive again. Can I expense the repairs without income from Lyft?

No.  Your deduction for actual vehicle expenses is limited to the business use percentage of the vehicle which is based on the miles driven for Lyft.  If you didn't have any income, you didn't have any business miles.  So the business use of your vehicle is zero therefore zero percent of the actual vehicle expenses will be zero deductions.
