Business Income entered was doubled. How can I fix?

You can enter the income directly on your self employment, Schedule C and delete the 1099-NEC.  This may resolve your experience and the IRS already has a copy of the form so there's no reason for concern.  

1. Open or continue your return.
2. Search for schedule c > Press enter  > click the Jump to link in the search results.
3. Answer Yes to Did you have any self-employment income or expenses?

You'll need to delete this form 1099-NEC.
