Can I be considered self employed if my wages are reported 1099 NEC by other organizations?

I am a tutor (independent contractor) for a tutoring organization and I am a director (independent contractor)  for an aftercare drama program

Yes that's exactly what you are.   You don't get wages.  Wages come on a W2.  

You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe or Premier but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Self Employed version.  Or use any of the Desktop CD/Download programs.  You can see the Desktop programs here,
