Can I change my self-employed status?

I am no longer self-employed, I don't know how to change it.

Did you receive and enter a Form 1099-MISC or 1099 NEC? If so, the IRS considers you self-employed and the TurboTax program will recommend you use the Self-Employed edition.

 

If this is not the case, you would need to clear and start over, assuming you are using the online editions.
