Can i delete 2023 self-employed work summary legal service plan? was not self employed for the income of 27.00.

i recieved a 1099 MISC for income from a Legal service plan ,UAW-FCA-FORD-General Motors and i am being asked to file a schedule C for self employed work summary. How do i delete this? I am not self employed.

You should go back and correct the way you entered the 1099-MISC. To review the form go to:

Go to Wages & Income
Scroll to the bottom under Less Common Income select Start (or Update) for Miscellaneous Income.
Choose Other reportable income
Answer Yes to Any Other Taxable Income
On the next screen enter the description and amount

Your income will now get reported as Other Income on your tax return. Feel free to reach back if you have any other questions.
