My old tax accountant used to put in in the Schedule SE for him and I even though its Sole Proprietorship business so we both can benefit from the social security later down the road. I am just not sure where to put it in turbo tax?

If you are a sole proprietor, there is only two ways this can be done. You can issue him a 1099-NEC as an independent contractor. What you should actually do is issue him a W-2 as an employee.

The only other possible way is if you live in a community property state. Then, you can file as a Qualified Joint Venture with an LLC.

Otherwise, this is your company and your husband can't use Schedule SE.
