Question

Do I need to file any forms to end paying estimated taxes? I was self employed and have retired this year and have on income for first quarter 2024?

No, there is nothing that you need to file to stop making estimated payments.  If you don't feel they are necessary any longer due to your income, just don't make the payment.

Nothing was filed with your tax return to tell the IRS you are making estimated payments.  Only payments that were actually made for the current tax year are reported as part of the return.
