Question

Do I need to file company taxes in another state if I hired a remote worker in that state?

I run an LLC that files taxes as an S-Corp that is based in GA. I was the only employee for my company until the end of last year when I hired a part-time, remote employee who lives in Utah. Do I need to file business taxes in Utah? I have paid Utah payroll taxes, but not sure if I need to also file a tax return in that state.

If you are not incorporated in Utah, you would not file state income taxes in Utah.
