efile problem

I e-filed, got a confirmations, then a rejection. When I went back into turbotax, it didn't know that I had efiled and wanted to do it again. I thought it was supposed to tell me the problem?

Did you get an email with a rejection code? If your return is not showing filed, go through the filing steps again and submit it. You will get a confirmation that it was sent - then an hour or a few hours later, you will get either an acceptance or a rejection notice - the rejection should provide details on what the problem was. If you are using desktop software, there will be a yellow warning triangle on your return before you open it.

You can see your e-filing history from the File Menu > Electronic Filing > Show Electronic Filing Status History or Check Status
