Family Work

I made a good income at my full time self employment.

I also made about $400 while doing the same type of work for my family, paid by check. I was not doing this work in my official self employed capacity, no invoices, business cards, advertising, logos, business emails or other business-like papers or procedures were used. All of the work was done in a family chore like way, using personal phone numbers, personal email addresses and communications. Do I have to report my Family Work income? Thank you.

Yes, you need to report all of your income.  This is considered self-employment income as well.

All income must be reported. Since it was the same kind of work report it with your usual self employment income.

Again, all income must be reported.
