Question

For self employment, 'Any Large Purchases (Depreciable Assets)?' the software is not allowing them to be listed. Is anyone having this issue?

What kind of problem are you having?    The Assets section is within the Expense listings.   When you go to your Self-Employment income, click on Add More Expenses and scroll down until you see Assets in the listing.

It does not allow me to enter the assets.  It jumps out to the menu you posted.

If you are using the online version, log out of your return and try one or more of the following:

  • Don't use Internet Explorer.
  • Clear cache and cookies,
  • Sign in using a different browser.
  • Sign in using a different device.
