Hello, I currently live in US closer to the border in Canada. I got the job offer in Canada but would love to know if I'd need to pay double taxes in US & CA if I still live in US but perform job in CA.

Since you will be working in Canada you will need to file a nonresident Canadian tax return.

See this TurboTax Canada article for nonresidents - https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tips/filing-income-tax-returns-in-canada-as-a-non-resident-323

And - https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tips/taxation-for-non-residents-505

On your US tax return can can file a Form 2555 Foreign Earned Income and Exclusion.  For tax year 2023 you can exclude up to $120,000 of foreign earned income on your US return.
