Hello, Do i have to use the self employed option for my taxes and I noticed that the $119 was for self employed and I am not self employed is there a cheaper option?

Depends.  Did you get a 1099NEC or 1099Misc for something?  That is usually for self employment income.  You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe or Premier but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Self Employed version or use any of the Desktop CD/Download programs. All the Desktop programs have the same forms.  You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions.

VolvoGirl  is quite right that you will need the Self-Employed version if you have contract or self-employed income on a Form 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC.
