Home Office Deduction

Both me and My wife have home based businesses and we share an office. How do we take this deduction? Are we both allowed to claim the deduction, or do we split the square footage? Please advise.

    You can both take the deduction for the shared home office, but you will need to split the expenses so that the total square footage is only claimed once on the return.
