How can I change the way I file from a self employed to not self employed?

    If you don't have any 1099-NECs, you're not considered self-employed. You can remove them from your return by clicking on the trash can next to them or you can delete from Tax Tools.

     

    To delete a form in TurboTax Online follow the instructions below:

    1. Open TurboTax and your return
    2. Select Tax Tools from the menu on the left side
    3. Select Tools
    4. In the pop-up window select Delete a form
    5. Find the form 1099-NEC in the list and Select Delete.
