Question

How do I record 1099-misc for renting my home for filming? They put it in Box 3. It was only for 4 days

The good news is the income for up to 14 days of film location (or any other) rental of your primary residence is free from federal income tax. Most U.S. states also exempt the first 14 days from state income taxes. You must occupy the residence at least 14 days a year to qualify.  The bad news is that since they reported in on a 1099-MISC, you need to report it, and then offset it.  You need to first enter the 1099-MISC for the 14 days or less rental in the Less Common Income section, Miscellaneous income, Other Reportable Income. Enter a description such as, '14 day rental exclusion' and the amount.  Second, repeat the steps but for the amount, enter as a negative number. In effect, you have cancelled the income amount.  Both entries will Schedule 1 of Form 1040, and then flow to page 1 of your 1040.
