How do I report joint 1099 misc MCTR when turbo tax only allows one name for each 1099 misc?

When I enter $700 under one name, Turbo tax says the amount is not correct.

For a joint Form 1099-MISC-MCTR, choose the primary taxpayer's name (this is not important to the IRS). Enter the rest of the info directly from the 1099. Be sure to choose the correct tax id number format (XX-XXXXXX) to enter the State of California tax id and not the taxpayer's SSN. Enter the amount of the refund in Box 3 Other Income.

On the page "Describe the reason for this 1099-MISC," click the help link What if I got my 1099-MISC for something other than a job? This on-demand help says: "If the reason for the 1099-MISC was California's Middle Class Tax Refund, type in "CA MCTR" as the description."

On the next screen, choose "This was a California Middle Class Tax Refund (MCTR)." A note will appear at the bottom to show that this refund will not be taxable on your California or Federal returns.
