How does MN taxpayers add the 1099 misc

When I try to add the 1099 Misc it will not allow entry to the form

It depends.  Are you trying to add it to your state return or the federal return? You would report it in your federal return and then the information will populate into your state return. Here is how to report.

 

  1. Log into your Turbo Tax Account
  2. Go to federal>wages and income
  3. Go to other common income>income from 1099 MISC
