Hi:

I am running a catering business from home where people order food and either get delivered or take out. Obviously, I have to buy the ingredients like vegetables, groceries, packing supplies for take out orders etc etc. How and where should I claim these expenses.  Appreciate a response and point me to which section of TT product do I enter in the Business section.

By the way, I am listing the Platform as "I Don't Know" not because I really don't know but because my Mac platform is not listed!!!

You could enter your expenses under Supplies or as a Miscellaneous Business Expense where you can enter your own description and amount.  Either of these categories are found under the Schedule C Expenses section.

Hi Annette:

Thanks for that response. Isn’t there a max limit of $500 under these? Is the limit for each line item or all together under miscellaneous expenses?
