MY HUSBAND HAS A W-2 IM SELF EMPLOYED. IS THERE ANY BENEFIT TO HAVING CERTAIN DEDUCTION ITEMS IN HIS NAME ONLY AS WITH THE PANDEMIC, I HAD A LOSS THIS YEAR.

    Hi jobejobie,

Expenses in your husband's name would not be deductible. Only the expenses that are incurred by you in the self employment would be deductible. This, in fact, could be good for you as it has the potential to reduce your overall taxes for the year.

What deductions are you considering?  They are limited or non existent for a W-2 employee.

we are moving our residence.. Donations to Goodwill, etc. since I have a loss, should the recipt for things like this be in his name or does it matter? Also is there any moving expenses for myself that are deductible? I had a home office in 2020-2021

Donations are deductible only if you itemize. I assume you file jointly. See here for moving expenses.
